Have you seen how our emergency services have been treated? Our emergency services are there to help and protect us, here at Kitchener 2000 we have been sadden and upset by the disgusting behaviour used towards them.

Some may ask how Bonfire Night and Electrical safety are linked; over the years it has become very prominent that electricity is a necessity within households in the UK.

Bonfire night can bring a lot a danger when it comes to electricity due to the live power lines and substations that surround towns.

Organised public bonfires are the only safe way to enjoy bonfire night. The Managing Director of Kitchener 2000, Rotarian Robert Kitchener has helped his club, Accrington Rotary and other Hyndburn Rotary Clubs over the years to arrange and build a local bonfire. Robert’s extensive knowledge of risk assessments within the workplace are transferred when organising and building the bonfire with electrical safety being the forefront of ensuring the safety of the public at such an event.
