Easter weekend is almost upon us and spring has sprung!
We will soon be celebrating Easter with our family and friends, doing lots of fun activities with one and other.
Make sure your family and friends are safe this Easter by having safety awareness.
Here are some Top Tips to ensure your Easter Safety:
- Be sure that Easter toys and dolls are free of choking hazards. Pieces that can be removed pose a potential choking danger to small children.
- Egg colouring and egg hunting is a fun Easter activity to do with your loved ones, but there are safety factors you need to think about, specifically where you hide your eggs. For example, do not hide them anywhere near electrical plugs or sockets (if undertaking the activity inside), near glass or glass objects, holes in the ground, thorn bushes or poisonous plants.
- Be careful of chocolate gifts for people who are allergic to peanuts. Make sure you read the ingredients in case they have been in contact with nuts or peanuts during the preparation or packaging.
Whatever you will be doing, stay safe and have fun!
From all at Kitchener 2000 we hope you have a very Happy Easter!
